The dough is made with an all-butter crust (and yes, you can make it in the food processor OR by hand). I fill it with all kinds of summer fruit like sour cherries, peaches, berries, or plums. Lately, I’ve been adding a layer of frangipane underneath the fruit for a touch of almondy richness.
